It is compatible with the factory latch and hinges. The license plate mounting area has been smoothed over.

The product weighs approximately 3.2 kg—a significant reduction compared to the factory weight of around 8 kg. While the interior side retains the factory shape, structural integrity is ensured through the use of double-layer bonding in specific areas.

The design prioritizes weight reduction in non-critical areas while ensuring ample strength where it is needed most. For the FD2 model, the trunk edges often serve as mounting points for GT wings, so these areas have been reinforced.
