This Japanese-made sealant tape is ideal for CFRP molding.
At CF Lab, we have tried a variety of sealant tapes, but this one was the best in terms of ease of application, vacuum resistance, and ease of removal. It’s especially resistant to “capillary leaks” from flange joints, a common problem for infusion beginners.
It also rarely leaves residue on the production mold like butyl, and is easy to peel, allowing for efficient production. As the name “flexible tape” suggests, this soft tape is excellent for work, especially in winter. Its slightly weaker adhesiveness provides excellent adhesion to film, making it the perfect sealant tape.
