RAYS VOLK RACING TE37SB
The weight of a typical 1BOXCAR wheel is necessitated by a significant increase in weight in order to clear the JWL-T technical standard, which is stricter than that for general vehicles, and weight reduction is not possible. The development of the TE37SB was started by positioning the 1BOXCAR as a sports box. The newly designed inner rim suppresses deflection and creates strength and high rigidity that exceeds the JWL-T standard. At the same time, weight reduction has been achieved, resulting in a lightweight of approximately 7.5 kg for the 17X6 1/2J. The benefits of this weight reduction will be more easily experienced than with sports-type vehicles.
